This past week, the Crew visited Northwood High School to watch the Drama Ensemble run through a dress rehearsal of 12 Angry Men. This drama takes places in a jury room where the jurors must decide if the defendent is guilty or not. While learning a little more about the American judicial system, students also were able to see one of the many opportunities that might interest them now and hopefully in the future. When viewing the production, it was our observation that some of the discussion among jurors was probably not age appropriate for our students given the murder trial topic. This was unfortunate but the rest of the play was excellent. Trust that we will review the nature of future field trips to high school events to ensure age appropriateness.
